SummerSalt is a high energy summer youth camp run by the Generations Group of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. It is a camp that is designed to grasp and captivate the next generation with the Gospel.
SummerSalt was established in 1987 and is held each year at White Oak Conference Center in Winnsboro, SC. Our staff is made up of 25-30 college students from around South Carolina and beyond.

NEW POLICY: Deposits are due by JANUARY 15th. We have the right to drop your spots after January 15th if you have not paid deposits.
The April 1st deadline for dropping spots is still the same. After April 1st, for every spot dropped, the $50 deposits are nonrefundable.
There is a new linen policy that will go into effect during our time at White Oak this summer. We are asking all participating churches to bring their own bedding (see below) and towels (bath and pool). White Oak will no longer be able to provide linen and towel services during your week at camp.
In addition to bringing towels for the week, our recommendation is for everyone to bring a full sized sheet, a sleeping bag and a pillow for your sleeping arrangements. If by chance your group is assigned one of the few rooms that have a queen bed, we will contact you ahead of time so your church can make arrangements.
For every seven (7) same-gender students, one adult chaperone is required to attend SummerSalt.
Anyone that is attending camp that is 18 years or older MUST complete a security screening in order to attend SummerSalt. This includes students that are 18 or will be 18 by the time they come to camp.
Youth MusicArts, or YMAC, is an additional track to SummerSalt to give you and your group a comprehensive and challenging arts and music experience. It is an opportunity for students to enjoy classes during the week in music and creative arts while getting to be involved in the morning bible studies and evening dramas & worship that SummerSalt provides.
